BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT THROWN INTO CHAOS AS HOST ANT HITS THE DECK LEAVING FANS CONCERNED

Ant McPartlin took a painful tumble only minutes into Britain's Got Talent's first live semi-final leaving viewers concerned.

The 47-year-old host was joined by co-star Declan Donnelly and dance group Diversity on stage for Monday's (May 29) opening number when he fell over. At the end of the dance group's performance, leader Ashley Banjo ran forward as Ant and Dec came running to join him.

But Ant's feet slipped right out from under him and he slammed to the floor in a hilarious entrance. Dec looked shocked as he made sure his pal wasn't hurt and helped him back on his feet.

The judges fell apart laughing as Ant got back on his feet and Dec asked him if he was okay. He replied: "I wet myself and farted at the same time!"

As Ant tried to laugh it off as judge Simon Cowell took the opportunity to make a joke and branded the scene his "favourite opening ever", before asking: "Are you ok?"

Ant looked slightly embarrassed as he reassured everyone he was "fine", and went on to say: "Let's get on shall we?".

BGT viewers took to Twitter to express their concern for Ant as one person wrote: "It was like a proper smack. Blimey Ant #BGT." A second stated: "Hope Ant is okay. #BGT", while a third added: "Ant taking a tumble on #BGT. Looked a painful one."

"Poor Ant! He’s handled it so well through the pain and embarrassment of everyone milking it #BGT", said another.
