Christian Slater and his wife Brittany Lopez made for an elegant pair at the Sesame Workshop 2024 Benefit Gala on Wednesday.
The 54-year-old True Romance actor — who recently revealed he and his wife are expecting — opted for a gray suit and black tie for star studded the event.
He styled his short dark locks pushed back as he posed up a storm on the red carpet with his wife and the Muppets.
Lopez looked radiant in a black one-shoulder dress with colorful floral print. She accessorized with a gold necklace and matching hoop earrings.
Her dark locks with honey-toned highlights were parted to the side and cascaded over her shoulders.
She looked radiant in a full face of glam makeup that showed off her rosy pout and striking chestnut eyes.
The Sesame Workshop 2024 Benefit Gala is a fundraiser for children and bettering education for the youth and awards those who are exemplary in the cause.
This year's festivities will honor The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc with the Civic Leadership Award and award-winning writer Shonda Rhimes with the Joan Ganz Cooney Award.
Tony and Grammy award-winning actor and musician Leslie Odom, Jr. will he hosting the event with as Oprah as the presenter.
Rise Up hitmaker Andra Day will be preforming and Last Week Tonight's John Oliver will make a special guest appearance.
Also spotted at the event were Lucy Liu, John Oliver, Martha Stewart and Diane Sawyer.
Slater and Lopez revealed that they were expecting their second child together at the Los Angeles premiere of his film Unfrosted earlier this month.
The longtime couple, who met on vacation in Florida's Little Palm Island when she was 21 and he was 39, went public with the exciting news as they walked the red carpet at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
He and Lopez already share a four-year-old daughter, whose name has not been publicly revealed.
Slater welcomed his first two children Eliana, 22, and Jaden, 25, during his marriage to journalist Ryan Haddon.
Back in 2019, after the birth of his youngest, Slater told People he was enjoying watching her newborn 'really acknowledge' and smile at him.
'Before, it would just be this involuntary thing,' he raved. 'Now, she sees and smiles, and that's a beautiful milestone.'
At the time, he also joked about how 'complicated' parenting has become since the Nineties.
'I thought your kid could get a couple of germs and be fine, build up the immune system. But now you have to wash everything,' he mused on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
He continued: 'The bottles, they break down into eight different pieces, and it's a puzzle you have to put together.'
The performer admitted that the newborn stage was just 'a constant job' of constantly cleaning and 'late nights.'
'It kind of already feels like we did the wedding,' he said at the time.
Despite the private affair for the official wedding, Christian and Brittany planned a familial event for their wedding later that year.
'It will be good, intimate and small and family members. It will be nice,' he told People, at the time. 'Honestly, you gotta get a planner and do all that, but we will get it organized.
'We had a big engagement party on the 31st of December and it was nice, it was like a New Year's and we had all the family come... so we are just going to do a nice backyard situation,' he said.
