LIVE NATION'S CONCERT WEEK HAS EPIC FAIL AS WEBSITE CRASHES

  • An X user complained that she waited hours to purchase a $25 ticket
  • Allie Kay claimed that the website crashed for 30 minutes straight
  • Live Nation's Concert Week began today, and it will last until May 14

The highly anticipated Live Nation Concert Week left many customers disappointed.

The company's 10th annual Concert Week was a disaster in the eyes of would-be concertgoers, many of whom revealed that they waited for hours to purchase $25 tickets on the website that kept on crashing.

Writer Allie Kay wrote in an X (formerly Twitter) post: 'I've been on Ticketmaster since 10 am for the $25 Live Nation sale - the website crashed for 30 minutes straight, then put me in the slowest queue of all time.'

'You're seriously telling me they can have a monopoly over the entire concert industry and still not use servers that work,' she added.

Concert Week began today, and it will last until May 14. The errors come after Live Nation announced that their event, meant to be alternative for waiting in long lines for expensive tickets, would expand to more than 20 countries.

Concert Week's overwhelming popularity has seen the 'buy ticket' link bringing users to a page that alarmingly reads 'Your Session Has Been Suspended.'

Angry social media users have requested that Live Nation add more tickets, which are first come, first serve, right away due to the number of sold out shows.

In the wake of the fiasco, one X user tweeted that they believe Concert Week is 'a bust.'

'As with everything related to Ticketmaster/Live Nation, the $25 concert week promotion is an utter disappointment,' one user wrote.

One person even claimed that 'every available concert' they were interested in no longer has available Concert Week tickets.

However, some Concert Week participants who managed to snag a $25 ticket had nothing but good things to write about the event.

'Yesterday, I bought a ticket to see Gary Clark Jr at History on May 27 thanks to this RBC pre-sale for the Live Nation Concert Week promo, so I paid $25,' a person claimed in their tweet.

One user wrote about her experience to let individuals know that the Concert Week's website worked for them.

'I got my Sean Paul ticket for $28 (after tax)! They only do a certain amount of tickets per day so just check back daily in the morning and they'll appear,' she wrote.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Live Nation for comment.

Concert Week is one of Live Nation's most popular events for anyone looking to attend a show for $25.

This year, the discounted tickets apply to more than 500 shows for over 900 acts, including 21 Savage, Luke Bryan and Peso Pluma.

The company also managed to expand their event to other territories due the growth of Concert Week over the past 10 years.

'For fans in the US and Canada, this annual program marks the start of the summer concert season, creating excitement among concertgoers as they gear up to fill their calendars with unforgettable live performances from their favorite artists,' read a Live Nation press release.

Live Nation offered presales beginning on May 7 for hopeful concertgoers that were either T-Mobile customers, members of Rakuten and the Hilton Honors Program or RBC Music clients.

However, those who were not qualified were forced to wait until today.
